About

Hi, I’m Christina – welcome to Beyond The Task!
This blog is where I share thoughts and stories from both sides of my life: the one in structured project and board meetings… and the one in the messy, beautiful process of growing as a person.

After several years working in IT and leading a variety of complex projects, I now work as an IT Project Portfolio Manager — overseeing strategic initiatives and helping ensure they align with broader business goals. A big part of my role involves working across teams, departments, and perspectives to bring people together toward a common goal.

While I value a well-structured roadmap and a clean Gantt chart, what truly fascinates me is the human side of collaboration — because that’s where the real impact happens. Understanding how people communicate, adapt, and grow is often what turns a good project into a exceptional experience.

That curiosity about human behavior and change led me to pursue a Master’s in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), focusing on communication — not just with others, but with myself. Learning how we talk to ourselves, how we interpret situations, and how we shift our mindset has shaped not only how I lead my team and a bunch of projects, but how I show up in life.

If you’re someone who cares about doing meaningful work, becoming a better version of yourself, learning about others, and finding answers to various “whys,” I hope you’ll feel at home here.

Thanks for stopping by,
Christina
